Mapei Silexcolor is a silicate based, vapour-permeable mineral paint which complies with DIN18363 Standards. It is suitable for bare mineral surfaces and especially lime render due to its high breathability qualities.


Silexcolor Paint is recommended for painting porous vertical interior or exterior surfaces where protection against atmospheric agents is required (rain, frost) along with high vapour permeability. When completely dry, Silexcolor creates a coating that is vapour permeable without forming a film.

Substrates should be sufficiently cured and dry and treated with SILEXCOLOR PRIMER prior to application. Substrates must be completely free of any old paint residues. Remove all dirt, grease, dust and oil before application.

Silexcolor Paint can be applied with a brush or roller and at least two coats are necessary for an even coverage.

Please remember that the colours shown are a representative guide only. Tester pots are available to give you a true idea of the colour. We also strongly advise ordering all your paint requirements in one go to ensure a uniform batch colour.Sd Value of 0.02m.
