This yellow based cousin to Limestone offers a light delicate feel.

Earthborn's Silicate Masonry Paint is a highly durable mineral paint that dries to a classic, matt finish. Being highly breathable and weather resistant it offers an alternative to traditional lime based and conventional coatings. It is available in 48 colours.

Earthborn Silicate Masonry paint requires all surfaces to be primed with first with a coat of Earthborn Primer. Please see below for advice on selecting the correct primer.

SILICATE PRIMER is for use on uncoated, bare, porous surfaces such as lime plaster, stone, pebble dash and sound silicate based paint surfaces. When combined with Silicate Masonry Paint it will create a highly breathable and permanent chemical bond.

BONDING PRIMER is for use over previously painted, sound surfaces. When combined with Silicate Masonry Paint it will create a strong mechanical bond.

Approx coverage: 5-7m² per litre depending on surface.

Do not use if the temperature is less than 8 degrees or is expected to fall below 8 degrees within 24 hours of application.

NB: Some clay surfaces may require special treatment.
