Great product, great service. - It's the third time I have shopped with Lime Stuff.
The first time I went to see them and got lots of useful advice.
Since then I have ordered on line. The service is excellent. The goods arrive promptly and are always exactly as promised. The 'medium stuff' I order is great for pointing between old Devizes bricks. It's ready mixed, in a bag which is in a bucket. Even as a simple DIYer I have found it easy to use.

Excellent all round - The guys at Limestuff are incredibly helpful and informative and gave this aged DIY'er the confidence to attempt a ceiling repair myself. The pre-mixed haired medium mortar mix works well, sticking easily to the new and existing laths, and the finish coat of pre-mixed fine plaster blended well with the original ceiling. Pre-Mixed Lime Plaster - Lovely product - easy to use for our builder who had used a lime based plaster before. We repointed an exposed brick feature wall in our bathroom. It looks stunning. vivianne 2017-11-24

Lime mortar- ready mixed - Needed two bags to point an old chimney breast, and needed a colour, oatmeal. It arrived on time and was very easy to use straight from the bags. The colour match, actual to Internet, was accurate and the fireplace looks really good. As an amateur, I took my time, found it easy to work with, and got the results I had hoped for. just right - Mix it thoroughly and it’s good stuff. Stiff enough to point/spread with and soft enough to shape. Let it dry for a few days to get colour. Wear gloves. 2018-01-21

easy to handle - total newbie to lime plaster and was well impressed how easy this stuff was to handle for repointing some old stone work Have ordered some more without hair for the final finish.
Quick delivery too.

Great Stuff! - Purchased some of Lime Stuff's Medium Lime Plaster for a restoration of a 140 year old stone cottage where the internal lime plaster on the stone was destroyed by trapped moisture from the use of gypsum skim, anaglypta and gloss paint. Really impressed with the quality of it and its good to get the building breathing again. Will definitely be buying the Fine plaster to finish! Steve 2017-10-13

Lime Mortar - I am a beginner in this repointing business. However, I find that this ready-mixed mortar takes a lot of hassle out of the work. Sometimes I think that the mix is a little too sloppy, but a bit of careful pouring can get rid of the extra water. However, I have also found that having a very 'soft' mortar makes it a lot easier to push right back into the holes in an old wall. Very happy with bthe product, and also with the price. It troweled on OK. Hopefully it will do the trick. Time will tell. - I was expecting a dry mix, but no problem. Might I suggest you provide a "combo" kit for internal repairs which includes a 15-20Kg of medium plus 5-10Kg of fine stuff. Bob (The Builder) 2017-08-24

First rate finish - Been living in an old house for a long time now but I'm still a novice when it comes to working with lime, never quite get the mix right and end up with more on th floor than the wall. With medium stuff I now have the confidence to tackle other repairs knowing I'll get a first rate finish every time. Only wish I'd have found it sooner. Dave 2017-06-20

Great product thats ready to go - in the past with mixing up lime based mortar, plaster or render slaking and waiting for the product to mature has always been the issue along with where to keep it while it is doing so.
but with Lime stuff we dont have to worry about this again, 2017-04-26

lime plaster repairs - I needed to make an awkward ceiling repair, where an NHL Wareham mix didn't have the right consistency to bond overhead. The medium stuff was perfect 2017-01-24

Excellent plaster - So far I have only applied a backing coat to stonework, a few days ago. I hope to apply the finish coat tomorrow. I have always mixed my own lime based plaster before. I wish I hadn't bothered; this stuff is just perfect, easy and pleasant to apply and a beautiful consistency. All it needs is a good stir up before use if it has been standing for a while, as mine had. Top notch! David 2016-12-20

Excelllent Product - Using on a historic library project The outcome of the finished rendering is of the best quality and although this needs to be undertaken by professionals I have asked our plastering operatives what they had thought and the response was extremely positive. They have used pre-blended products in the past and have identified the time saving and immediate use has put us in front of the work programme and has been easy to work with.

Excellent Experience with Medium Stuff - Having spent a week repointing with Medium Stuff, I am very impressed. This is a superior product and very easy to use. The consistency is much better than anything I have mixed myself and I am planning to order some more.

Aesthetic rendering over ugly brick - Lime Stuff lime mortar rendering of a small modern brick extension, has worked brilliantly, gorgeous colour (oatmeal, medium). We needed two coats to hide the brick outlines and Lime Stuff were brilliant at getting the extra mortar to us very quickly. Victoria 2016-06-02

easy to use - I use this product to repair defective pointing on my period property. I don't own a cement mixer nor do I have the desire to mix mortar. Keeping a tub or two in stock allows me to do a bit of repointing as and when required. If only heating engineers or whoever else knocked the hell out of my house did the same! I have plenty of sporadic patches of cement mortar to also replace... Craig 2016-07-19

Excellent product! - Needed to widen, re build and re-point my fireplace. Had struggled to find ready mixed lime mortar locally as I wanted a cream colour. Excellent adhesion and ease of use. epic service as always - Have been ordering the medium stuff regularly for the last 6months for each phase of repointing a 17th century cottage. The tubs are great, and the mortar will keep for along time as long as they remain air tight with the lid on.
The colour and consistency of each batch has been identical everytime, the house now looks great and the repointing will last year's!
Can only sing Lime stuffs praises,they have been absolutely fantastic in coordinating our deliveries for when we have labour on site to accept.

Plastering walls of listed building - so long as you apply the 2 other coats and give it all time to dry out, it is a great product and gives a great finish would always use in the future. Made easy to use as it comes in the tubs real pleasure. The clients loved it. Mike M&M 2016-10-04

Easy - I'm an amateur but this stuff is easy to work with - no messing about, already mixed, convenient bucket sizes.
Just make sure you wear gloves - it's unkind to the skin, especially for soft office boys like me!

medium course ready mixed lime mortar - What a great product. Easy to work with. Delivered very quickly and a very good and personal service. I only tried it as was having issues with manufacturing of a different make. Now I've tried this I will not use any other. clay lump repairs - The 2 litre packs of lime mortar are excellent for small repairs. The product is easy to use, and easy to store.

Great product, very convenient to use and store in the tub. - Had struggled to find anywhere that would supply ready mixed lime mortar. We needed to be able to store it without detioration over several months of part time renovations.
At the most after a couple of months the mix needs to be stirred as the water separated out. The newer batch got used before this happened.
Using a small mortar trowel (available on the website) its easy to push into deep gaps between bricks, and then makes a lovely finish to the pointing, that sometimes is neat enough to not need brushing down.
Have also recommended you and the product to a builder friend who was also struggling to find ready mix lime mortar. Helen Brown 2015-11-17

Great, but found it a bit harder to work with than the coarse - Used this as a float coat for repair to a lath ceiling. The haired coarse layer went on easy enough once I got used to it, but I found it a bit more of a challenge applying the medium and getting it to level off, so I ended up running out and having to order more so I can finish the job. I still think this is very good stuff, perhaps I just need to spend more time with it to get the right finish in preparation for the fine coat. Febman 2016-04-05

repointing - Excellent service. Lime stuff were great at assisting organising the courier to arrive on a Saturday and in a small van to aid access to our property.
The lime mortar is great, ready for use straight from the tub. The colour and texture of the medium stuff in oatmeal is perfect for the job we are doing re-pointing out grade II listed 17th century cottage. We ordered half a tonne in 25kg tubs so we could store it, look forward to ordering our next half tonne once we've used all this up. colin 2016-04-29
